About BEN
Mission Statement
The mission of the Berkshire Entrepreneurs Network is to create a dynamic
community spirit among area business and professional people through social
and educational activities.
We support this mission
with a commitment to the following values:
- Meetings and membership
are open to everyone in the tri-state region aligned with our mission.
- It is our intention
that participation in the network be fun.
- Our intent is to promote
business for attendees and improve the quality and quantity of business
conducted in the area.
- Our sessions are designed
to foster creativity, allow for honest sharing of experience and encourage
business collaboration. Aggressive selling of services is not permitted.
- Administration of the
network requires minimal effort on the part of the Steering Committee
and participants alike.
- Events are low cost;
beverages and dinner after events are optional.
- The network is independently
run, but is affiliated with local community organizations such as the
Southern Berkshire Chamber of Commerce, Berkshire Chamber of Commerce
and the Community Development Corporation of South Berkshire
